A CRM that was costing too much and delivering too little
Pure Thermal's existing CRM solution was holding the business back. Licensing fees were high, customisation options were minimal, and the system's complexity was driving poor user adoption across the team.
Critically, the platform lacked seamless integration with the Microsoft 365 environment Pure Thermal already relied on — including Teams — creating friction in day-to-day operations and limiting visibility across the sales pipeline.
"The goal was clear: build an intuitive, scalable, and cost-effective CRM tailored precisely to how Pure Thermal works."
Build on what you already have. Microsoft Power Platform.
Rather than replacing one costly off-the-shelf system with another, Pure Thermal chose to build a fully custom CRM using Microsoft Power Platform — leveraging tools already available within their existing Microsoft licensing.
Methodical delivery, phase by phase
Cordapse structured delivery across four phases to ensure every element was properly designed, built, tested, and rolled out — minimising disruption throughout.
- Identified core features required: lead management, contact tracking, sales pipeline, and reporting.
- Designed a clean, intuitive interface using Power Apps Canvas Apps with input from end users.
- Created custom entities in Dataverse to store customer and sales data securely.
- Developed forms and views to capture and surface customer interactions at every stage.
- Integrated Power Automate to handle email notifications, task creation, and workflow automation.
- Configured Power BI dashboards to visualise sales trends and pipeline health.
- Linked the CRM with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint for seamless cross-platform collaboration.
- Enabled API-based integration with external systems to support lead generation workflows.
- Conducted user acceptance testing (UAT) with sales and customer support teams to validate the solution before launch.
- Deployed in phases, ensuring minimal operational disruption and giving users time to build confidence in the new system.
